Morrissons gingerbread house

Back in November I picked up the create a gingerbread house from my local Morrisons , I thought it would be a fun thing for my son to do over Christmas and it was under £5 and had all the items included, and ready to do.

Simple I thought. I packed it away and kept it safe for the next few weeks, in the run up to Christmas, Leo kept asking me to do it, I said no its not near Christmas yet. Christmas Day came, I realised in all the excitement we hadn't made it. So on Christmas day I whipped it out and asked him to help. What was his reply "NO" he was to busy watching tv and looking at his Xmas gifts.

So I sat around my mums table and got out all the bits and started putting it together. No one helped... Left me too it..

While it was easy to do, it did take up a fair amount of time, and the roof kept slipping off and icing was not working the way  I wanted.

Once complete everyone said it looked like it was melting and it really had been snowing... No one even wanted any! So over xmas and boxing day it sat around.

Leo then ate the roof once he got home and said it was tasty.

Lesson learned - To make it before xmas with others helping!!

did you make a ginger bread house?

Nails

I wanted to re vamp my new nails, had them painted silver glitter for the festive period as was attending partys and events, and wanted to match them to my dress.

So for the new year, wanted to make them more glam so I raided my nail varnish collection and came up with my new look.. I loved how the colours worked together, and make a fun look.
