Ace Gentle

No saggy bottoms here: why swimwear needs help to stay looking great
Swimwear is subjected to so many different agents that can harm the fabric, which is why leading stain remover and detergent booster, ACE Gentle, is giving advice on how to keep it feeling and looking great this summer.

Whether swimwear is used for swimming in a pool or in the sea, or simply for sunbathing it’s exposed to a wide range of substances. Any one of them is capable of damaging the fibres, affecting the elasticity over time and fading the fabric.  Put together a combination of these substances, for example sea water, suntan lotion, perspiration and body oils, and it’s easy to see that swimwear needs more attention than a quick rinse in cold water.
Caring for swimwear means giving it an initial rinse in cool water after it’s removed, following up with a gentle hand wash as soon as possible.  Rinsing alone won’t remove salt water or chlorine, which is why ACE Gentle is the perfect choice to gently clean a swimsuit, removing the harmful substances from the fabric and keeping the colours true.
ACE’s unique patented polymer technology lifts these substances away from the fabric and doesn’t allow any of it to re-settle, so swimwear is given a new lease of life at every wash. After washing, gently squeeze the swimwear (don’t wring) and lay it flat to dry away from direct sunshine.

Kevin Day, from Robinson Young, UK distributor of ACE said:
“Swimming is a fabulous activity for all ages and keeping everyone’s swimwear in tip-top condition doesn’t have to be a chore. ACE Gentle is perfect for dealing with salt water and a whole range of chemicals, yet it’s gentle enough to care for the fabric and keep the colours bright”.
ACE is currently available from Waitrose, Tesco, Sainsbury’s, some Asda stores and Poundland.  One litre of ACE Gentle Classic retails at £1.99 and ACE capsules retail at £3.99 for 14.  A 700ml bottle of ACE Gentle is also available from Poundland.
