BHS Sale Finds for Bathroom

Having moved in the last few weeks I am pretty much starting from nothing other than the beds... all the curtains ect are far too small, so need new ones and nets and poles ect..

Any how, im not a huge fan of the decor in the new bathroom, but have not got the time or energy to do anything about it and it looks ok.

So I wanted to make it my own, so while i was in town , Leo needed the loo and was moaning for a drink and the nearest place was Bhs, so we ventured in and headed towards the escerlaters which had bathmats, towels ect for sale, with Leos moaning i took him past it and we grabbed a bite and the loo. After that little pit stop we headed down stairs, and I finally was able to look, Leo loved feeling the materials and he loved a bubbly blue set, however he found a cream set, and we looked behind it to find this last silver/gray one with glitter in, it also came with the toilet thing for the floor. it was £28.00 reduced to £12.99 I however can not find it on the site but if you click here it will take you to the others in the sale.
There was also towels that matched, with sliver sparkle edge which you can pick up in the sale too click here to view

As there is paris wallpaper in the bathroom, I saw these and thought they would go with the silver theme so picked up-

New online boutique, Cardology, specialises in the UK’s finest pop up greetings cards. Gone are the days when a simple one dimensional card was acceptable, to ensure your card stands out on the mantel piece and to send a message with a meaning, Cardology produces stunning three dimensional cards using the intricate Japanese art form of Kirigami and paper engineering. In a fast-paced, digital age, Cardology offers the perfect keepsake card that genuinely connects you to the people you love.

Launched in 2014, Cardology was started by three young, successful friends who in their own fast paced careers noticed that true interactions were falling by the wayside and that our nation’s love for sending and receiving cards was seen as more of a chore than a gesture. The founders believe a card can be given for any occasion which is ever more prevalent in an era where technology is taking over our social communications, a Cardology card is a welcome treat and is cherished as more of a gift. New designs, available to buy online from the 24th June, will include a pop up cake to say happy birthday, a couple kissing to wish them well on their wedding day, a cat or dog for your furry four legged friend, a London taxi to welcome a friend to your city, a rocking horse for a new born baby and a Romeo & Juliet scene to let that someone special know how much you love them.

As our lives change and evolve, new occasions are being celebrated and it was this gap in the market that Cardology knew they could fulfil. Cards to celebrate pet’s birthdays, gay weddings, great friendships and sporting events. Cardology also relishes the patriotic British ways and has designed a number of cards that reflect iconic British architecture, hobbies and industries, including designs of Tower Bridge, London bus and telephone box, golf, rugby, gardening and the great British BBQ, amongst others.

Did you know that more greetings cards are bought per person in the UK than in any other country in the world and that almost £1.29 billion has been spent on single cards in the last year? As a nation we take pleasure in giving and receiving a greetings card, whether it is to say happy birthday, congratulations on the house move, getting engaged, a new baby, happy mothers or father’s day, the list goes on.

Cardology produces their cards using the art form of Pop-Up Paper Engineering and Kirigami, which is a variation of origami (from Japanese "kiru" - to cut, "kami" - paper), the paper is cut rather than folded, as is the case with origami. All Cardology greetings cards are individually laser cut pieces which are then stitched into the card to provide stunning intricate designs.

Cardology greetings cards are available to purchase from www.cardology.co.uk and prices start from £4.50

I had never heard of Cardology, before i was sent this PR details,  and they make unique fun cards, that are not too expensive and offer something different, so you wont need to worry about others giving you recipient the same card, as you simply can not buy these anywhere else.

Overall im a fan of the cards, but im not a huge fan on the layout of the website.

#KeepTheBan. Hunting

There are 5 days to act to stop MPs from amending the Hunting Act to make hunting as we knew it legal again.
Contact your MP today...

What is happening?

On Wednesday 15th July, MPs will be given a free vote on a key amendment to the Hunting Act. If the amendment is passed, the Hunting Act will not be worth the paper it is written on. The new regime could be in place in time for traditional Boxing Day hunts.

How is that possible?

Parliament is scheduling time to alter the wording of the existing legislation; it sounds simple.
What this means for foxes, deer, hares and other wild animals is serious.
By amending the Hunting Act, the government would be deliberately and cynically making it easier for hunts to chase and kill foxes, and harder for them to be convicted when they break the law.
If you’re wondering why you haven’t already heard about this, it’s because the government does not want you to. Rather than a full repeal, the government has chosen a method that could sneak hunting back into legislation when they think nobody is watching. Now is a vital time to show your support for animals, to take action and help #KeepTheBan.

What can I do?

. Tweet your MP! Ask them to attend the vote on Wednesday 15th July and to vote against any changes to the Hunting Act. Send them a video message or message on twitter using the hashtag #KeepTheBan
(Find their details here http://www.tweetminster.co.uk/mps  )
. Tweet your support, share a video message or message on twitter for foxes, deer, hares and other wild animals using the hashtag #KeepTheBan.
. Go into your nearest Lush to sign a postcard to protest against amending the Hunting Act.
