Win a bottle of NatraSan first aid spray

NatraSan - This product is 100% natural and made from 5% Hypochlorous acid, which is produced naturally by white blood cells to aid healing and fight infections and bacteria. As well as protecting against germs and bugs on surfaces and wounds, it has also been proven to fight against acne and spots as it kills 99.9999% of germs. As it can be used as a disinfectant, you are able to use it for a multitude of beauty chores including cleaning your make-up brushes (we all know how annoying that is), cleaning your make-up bag and cleaning the make up casing.
It can also be helpful to have in your beauty bag/draw as it takes the sting out of minor burns – we’ve all been there with those pesky hair straighteners or curlers!
NatraSan is the first of its kind to have EU approval to be sold to consumers. It is pH neutral, non-irritating and free from alcohol, preservatives and fragrances.

I have one of these to give away!

Terrence Higgins 70th Birthday 5 uk centres for over 50's with HIV

Terrence Higgins Trust commemorates Terry’s 70th birthday with launch of  five UK centres dedicated to over 50s living with HIV

Commemorating Terry Higgin’s 70th birthday, the UK’s leading sexual health and HIV charity has rolled out a national programme –Health Wealth and Happiness Project (HWHP) -  aimed at the one in four of those living with HIV in the UK who are over 50*.  Funded by the Big Lottery Fund’s Silver Dreams scheme, the  programme is available in London, Bristol, West Midlands, Brighton, and Manchester.

HWHP focuses on providing support, advice, counselling and information to the first generation of people living with HIV into older age. These numbers are set to rise significantly over the next decade with 53 per cent (42, 000) of people currently living with HIV  in the  UK in the 35 - 49 age group.

Dr Rosemary Gillespie, Terrence Higgins Trust CEO,  said:

As we commemorate Terry Higgin’s 70th birthday we are reminded that people with HIV are now living into older age. “Our **50 plus research (2012) revealed that a significant proportion of older people with HIV live alone, experience poverty, and have limited family support.

“HWHP  was set up to tackle this through provisions such as debt management, one to one support, housing and benefit advice, volunteering opportunities, and complimentary therapy sessions.”

Tony Calvert, one of the original founders of the Terrence Higgins Trust, said:

“Terry was the first of many friends I lost to HIV.  He passed away at St Thomas's Hospital, London on Sunday 4th July 1982, 25 days after his 37th birthday.  It was the decision of his friends, as a group, to set-up a charity in his name, -Terrence Higgins Trust, shortly after.

“I remember Terry with great fondness every time his birthday comes along.. Today (10th June) would have been my dear friend's "70th birthday. I would like to say thanks Terry - for being my friend, and to the charity that carries your great name, without which programmes like HWHP would not exist.”

Big Lottery Fund England Chair, Nat Sloane said:

“The Big Lottery Fund are proud to be part of the vital work of the Terence Higgins Trust. We wish them every success to continue and expand the great work they are doing across the country providing crucial support and advocacy for more older people living with HIV.”

Taschen Book summer sale!

Luxury publisher TASCHEN today announces its eagerly anticipated summer warehouse super sale. From June 25th to 28th there are 50 to 75% discounts available in all TASCHEN stores worldwide. That's a minimum of half-price on titles spanning cutting-edge design, jaw-dropping photography and unearthed historical treasures.

The London store in Duke of York's Square, Chelsea, will feature some of the very best bargains. And in a special twist sure to fire up summer imaginations, the publisher is launching the #TASCHENsalefie promotion on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook. The most "liked" photo using this hashtag will win $5,000 of TASCHEN books, with the five most "liked" images thereafter receiving $1,000 of TASCHEN books.

TASCHEN was founded in Cologne in 1980 by Benedikt Taschen. It initially focused on comic books but soon grew to become a world-wide force in making lesser-seen art available to mainstream bookstores; across photography, painting, design, history, film, architecture and beyond. The brand's mission is to publish innovative and beautifully designed art books at popular prices, although it has sold some of the most expensive books in history. Famously TASCHEN published the $15,000, 75lbs, 700-page Greatest Of All Time – a tribute to Mohammad Ali. Der Spiegel called this "the biggest, heaviest, most radiant thing ever printed in the history of civilisation".

TASCHEN opened its first store in London in 2007 and moved to its present home in Duke of York’s Square in October 2008. Designed by Philippe Stark the store also features a Gallery downstairs showcasing the Limited Edition Art Prints and Collector’s Edition books that the company is well known for. Since opening the store has held book signings with Sir Paul Smith, Pedro Almodovar, Marc Newson and Sebastiao Salgado.

Nolan Browne, Manager of the London TASCHEN Store said: “2015 is a huge year for TASCHEN as we celebrate our 35-year history. The TASCHEN warehouse summer sale takes place between June 25th and 28th and is an opportunity for new customers to come down to our store, meet the team and pick up an incredible bargain. This is one of London’s very best summer sales, we passionately believe in giving everyone the opportunity to own one of these beautiful art books. Anyone interested should get down here early because the stock in store is different to online and it’s sure to be extremely busy!”

The store cannot reveal which books or the prices before the sale begins but, Londoners can expect some great titles to be included. (High-res images from these publications are available upon request.)

The special summer sale is taking place at TASCHEN's stores globally (London, Amsterdam, Beverly Hills, Brussels, Cologne, Hamburg, Hollywood, Madrid, Miami, Milan, New York and Paris). For more information log on to: www.taschen.com

Next Boutique Glam Perfume Review

Normally I do not go into next as much as I would like to anymore, however I was out of perfume and my sisters birthday was coming up, so I headed in there and head a look around.

I was about to leave when I stumbled across some perfumes which are normally by the pay here bit, however these where near the entrance of the store, so I stopped to have a smell.

Nothing smells better to me than a perfume with vanilla in it, and came across Boutique Glam in its fun packaging.

30ml £6.50 click here to buy

This smells nice and lasts all day, and as its only £6.50 you can buy lots of this and it will last ages!

Review Lemon Verbena And Mandarin tea lights Sainsburys

I was in Sainsburys and I needed some new candles as I use them daily, love the smell of all candles.

I was pretty much broke at this point didn't have much to spend however in the home wear department Sainsburys have a nice range of items and the ones that could my eye where the Lemon Verbena and Mandarin tea lights, they also had a range of other candles, room spray in this range.

I think the candles where about 3.00 for the 30 tea lights, which to me seem a barging, and they smell amazing.

Once home they burned for about a hour or so before it was out, but the room filled with a hevenly sent, and this is a product I would buy again.

Crashing down

Today is a day that has been rather confusing and upsetting at he same time, and the only place I thought I could express my feelings is here. Sometimes this blog can be like a diary.

Since Just before Christmas every thing seems to just happen, and seems to get worse from having shingles to my granddad passing away, to break ups.

Just when I thought I had found something and someone that made me happy and got on with leo, it was all shattered again..

Starting to feel like im cursed or something, my whole dating situation has always been a total disaster, with me always ending up with men who hurt me, lie, cheat or abuse me..

This time I thought things were different that, I had finally meet someone who would actually love, respect and want to be with me, and look after leo and I.

I spent time with someone who I found amazing, who I didn't need to talk to, who I could just look at and who made me smile so much, who I could just be myself with. Someone where every minute with them was fun. Where you could hug, hold hands and kiss and that meant everything.

Following a amazing weekend, it all came crashing down.

The big " lets be friends" message came, followed by telling me not to wait for them ... well hello what do you want me to do, when I feel I have meet the person for me, and the 1 person who in many years makes me feel the way I do.. just say ok next please.

It might be simple for some men or women to just cut ties and move on like there waiting for the next bus or train but sadly for me, I have feelings and they run pretty deep, deeper than I sometimes wish they didn't, and as hard as it maybe sometimes I simply can not just say ok and walk away, forgetting all the good times that came along with it.

While I say I will be there for someone there is only so long you can be there for someone, and unless they make it obvious they want you in there life, and want you to be part of something there is not much you can do.

I often pride myself on being a open book, not hiding things, being honest and truthful , yes it gets me into trouble at times. However those around me love that about me.

This was a time to lie all my cards out on the table, I had no moves to offer, all my lifes had been used up.. the only person in control holds all the cards to my heart.

Now there is nothing left for me to do, other than give the time that's needed and support if its asked for.. As much as I wish to contact them , I know that if im needed they no where I am and how to contact me, that for now my feelings are as strong as they can be, but that they are no useless, unless that person needs or wants them.

You can not change or persuade anyone to feel anything for you. It happens on there terms, some people get it un expected and can sometimes scare them or catch them off guard. They have to be able to know what there feeling in order for things to work out.

who knows where all this is going to take me but all I know is that unless you love yourself, you cant expect others to want to love you.

Driven insane by a crazy laptop!

I am currently going crazy over my laptop... which sounds like a alien popping out of a tin can!

I think with the over use of work, competition and blogging this poor little lappy has had enough and wants out..

This old trusty steed has helped me win some great items on the competitions and maybe before it totally gives in it will help me with some more...

Bit annoying when it keeps shutting down on me tho from all the stress i put it under lol

If anyone has any contact to help me get a new laptop would very much appropriate it!
