Qwick Easy Quiche


100 Plain flour
Pinch Salt
25g white fat/ 25g hard margarine/stalk
4 tablespoons cold water

125ml milk
2 eggs
Salt and pepper
50g cooked bacon
50g cheese, grated
1 tomato (optional)
1 Onion (chopped and fried)
Light the oven, Gas 5 or 190C
Linea flan dish (18cm in diameter) or rub with butter to stop it from sticking 

Make the pastry:
Rub the fat into the flour, add the cold water, mix to a soft dough and knead lightly, roll it out and put it into the pastry case.

The filling:
Put the bacon, onion and cheese into the pastry case evenly
Beat the eggs, milk, salt and pepper together (so its smooth texture like omlett)
Pour over the bacon, onion and cheese
Slice the tomato and place on the top if you want it.
Bake for approx. 30-40 mins until golden and firm to the touc
